At Polyseam, we have always believed in the power of community and the importance of giving back. In January 2023, we took a significant step in this direction by committing to support Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Huddersfield. This decision was inspired by our CEO and supported by staff, who were deeply moved by the incredible work the hospice does for children and families in need.
The Importance of Partnership
Since forming this partnership, our team has wholeheartedly embraced the cause, participating in a variety of fundraising events. These activities have not only contributed to the hospice but have also brought our staff closer together and strengthened our bonds with the local community.
One of the most exhilarating events we took part in was the Dragon Boat Race. Our team paddled with determination and spirit, driven by the knowledge that every stroke was for a worthy cause. The sense of camaraderie and teamwork was palpable as we navigated the waters, united in our mission to support the hospice.
Team Events and Activities
In addition to the Dragon Boat Race, some of our bravest employees took to the skies for a charity skydive. This thrilling experience was not only a personal challenge for those who participated but also a powerful statement of our commitment to the hospice. The skydivers’ courage inspired many and highlighted the extraordinary lengths we are willing to go to for a cause we believe in.
Our involvement didn’t stop there. We also participated in the vibrant and joyous Colour Run, attended community events, and were present at various business days. These occasions provided opportunities to share our experiences and the positive impact of our partnership with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. At these events, we encouraged other businesses to join us in supporting the hospice, showing them the profound effect it had on our staff and the local community.
