Currently, more than 1,648 active registered companies operate from the Centre, with a combined workforce of 21,611 people.

Al Furjan is a master development located right behind the famous Ibn Battuta Mall and adjacent to the Discovery Gardens. Al Furjan development comprises of townhouses, villas as well as the renowned Masakin Al Furjan development.

 

The main artery of this entire master plan is the Al Furjan Road where Victoria Residency is being developed. It is a strategic location with prospects of capital appreciation due to its close connectivity with Expo 2020, where more than 25 million visitors are expected to visit.

Lindholmshamnen will be a new dynamic area with parks, offices and housing. Nestled in greenery, just a stone's throw from the water and the dock, you can enjoy stunning views of the river in our neighbourhood dock.

 

The Dockan neighbourhood has two residential buildings overlooking Lindholmen. Taking care of the lights and creating floor plans that make it possible to enjoy the views as many as possible has been very important. Almost all apartments have a balcony and even these are placed in a way that gives a sense of variety. The ones in the ground floor, instead, get a patio. The house on 16 floors has balconies with lovely views of the river and the beautiful surroundings. Karolinska Institutet is building an ultramodern, purpose-built facility for experimental medical research, Biomedicum. The new laboratory gives Karolinska Institutet more research space and new opportunities to make more effective use of shared infrastructure

 

The experimental research at Karolinska Institutet is growing, and the need for more advanced laboratories and modern facilities at Campus Solna is great. Karolinska Institutet is therefore constructing a new building for experimental research across disciplinary boundaries and for collaboration with clinical research. This all aims to facilitate the transition from basic research to clinical studies, thereby promoting practical application. Which its 65,000 square meters Biomedicum will become one if Europe's largest laboratories.
